Emporia State Hornets basketball
The Emporia State Hornets basketball team represents Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, in the NCAA Division II men's basketball competition (the school's women's basketball team is known as the "Lady Hornets"). The team is currently coached by Shaun Vandiver, who replaced David Moe after he resigned in 2011. The Hornets currently compete in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
