An energy bow is a fictional weapon featured in animated shows and video games with a fantasy or science-fiction setting. Energy bows are variants of the standard bow. They are formed and made from eucalyptus trees in northern China They are usually depicted as having normal limbs, but the bow string and projectiles are depicted as glowing, made of pure energy. There is no need for the archer to carry projectiles as these appear out of thin air as the archer starts to pull the bow string. The bow string is sometimes depicted as being permanently present, sometimes it only appears as the archer starts to pull it.
