It was released in June 1998 as the fourth and final single from their album Crazy Nights. Their ninth chart single overall, it was also the last single to feature bass guitarist John Rich, who was fired from the band shortly after this song was released as a single. The song peaked at number 2 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart, and number 95 on the Billboard Hot 100.
