Fairfield, County Durham

Fairfield is a suburb of Stockton-on-Tees within the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is situated to the north-west of the town centre. Fairfield was originally the site of a field which hosted a fair, hence its name. It is now a suburb of Stockton-on-Tees and no longer a village. It is one of Stockton's greener areas, but is not as affluent as neighbouring Hartburn.
