Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya

Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya (born 31 January 1981) is a Turkish politician with an electrical engineering degree from Bilkent University as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa School of Medicine. She serves as the Minister of Family and Social Policies as of May 24, 2016. She is the only woman in the 65th Cabinet and the third minister with hijab (head scarf) in Turkish political history. Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya is married and has two children. She is sister of Ömer Fatih Sayan who is the head of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority.
