Federal Archives of Switzerland

The Federal Archives of Switzerland (German: Schweizerisches Bundesarchiv, French: Archives fédérales suisses) were created in 1798 following the creation of the Helvetic Republic. They are located in Berne and governed by the Federal Act on Archiving. In 2013 it held 60'000 linear meters of analogue and 15 Terabytes of digital artifacts.
