Forden
(Not to be confused with Fordon, East Riding of Yorkshire.) Forden (Welsh: Ffordun) is a parish, formerly in the historic county of Montgomeryshire near Welshpool in Powys. It forms part of the community council of Forden, Leighton and Trelystan Looking down on the parish is the Long Mountain, which stretches north eastwards from Forden as far as the border between Montgomeryshire and Shropshire.
