Frederick Thomas Attenborough was Lecturer in Communication and Media Studies at Loughborough University (2009-2015) and Senior Lecturer at Bishop Grosseteste University from Lincoln (2015-2016). During late-2014 and early-2015, Frederick was employed by Bishop Grosseteste University to design and then implement an entirely new type of BA Hons sociology undergraduate degree in which sociological and business and entrepreneurial insights could be brought together to help students better understand the workings of modern—and increasingly global, interdependent and diverse—societies. Frederick currently sits on the Editorial Boards of Gender and Language, the Journal of Language Aggression and Conflict, and the Journal of Gender Studies.
