Gurney Wharf is a new Promenade seafront public park that is planned to be built at Gurney Drive foreshore. It will located beside the Penang Undersea Tunnel's Gurney Drive-PORR Interchange. The 60 acre park is a co-initiative by the Penang State Government and Tanjung Pinang Development. The proposed masterplan comprises four areas that will feature a seaside retail food and beverage area, a water garden, a beach and a coastal grove. The project expected to complete in year 2018.
