HMS Jersey (P295)

HMS Jersey was an Island-class patrol vessel of the Royal Navy (RN). She was named after the island of Jersey, part of the Channel Islands. She was built at Aberdeen, being launched in 1976 by HRH Princess Anne and subsequently commissioned into the Navy later that year. She was the first ship of the class to be commissioned; six more would follow her.
