It is a newly established state run University under Indira Gandhi University Meerpur act no. XXIX of 2013. Earlier, it was a regional center of M.D. University Rohtak since 1989. The university is situated in a 110 Acres of lush green area with pollution free environment in Meerpur village on Rewari-Lokri road. The main entrance in university is through the Rao Tula Ram Gate. University starts functioning w.e.f. 13 Sept. 2013 the day Sh.
