The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) is a U.S. nonprofit public policy think tank based out of Washington, D.C. The organization focuses on public policies that spur technology innovation. The University of Pennsylvania rates ITIF the most authoritative science and technology think tank in the United States, and the second most authoritative science and technology think tank in the world, behind Germany's Max Planck Institutes. Ars Technica has described ITIF as "one of the leading, and most prolific, tech policy think tanks."
