Jaani Dost (English: Best Friends) is a 1983 Bollywood film produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, M.Arjuna Raju on Vyjayanthi & Roja Movies Combines banner and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Starring Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Parveen Babi and Sridevi in lead roles and music composed by Bappi Lahari. The film is a remake of Telugu movie Adavi Simhalu played by Krishna and Krishnam Raju. Both the movies were made simultaneously by the same banner and director, some of the scenes and actors are identical in both the versions.
