The station broadcasts on UHF channel 42, with no digital signal at this time; its application to covert to digital television on channel 42, filed on March 31, 2006, was dismissed on June 13, 2006. K42HI went silent on March 30, 2010. K42HI returned to the air on July 1, 2010 K42HI ownership was transferred to the Minority Media Telecommunications Council on May 26, 2011.
