Kashiram Das Institution

Kashiram Das Institution is the largest and oldest higher secondary school in Katwa Sub-Division, West Bengal. It was established in 1857. Originally the name of the school was Katwa High English School. In 1910 it took the name of Kashiram Das, the great poet and translator of Mahabharata. It was known as Cuttwa High School at the time of its establishment. The chief patron for its establishment was the S.D.O Hare Krishna Deb Bahadur, a member of the royal family of Sobha Bazar.
