Laft

Laft (Persian: لافت‎‎, also Romanized as Lāft; also known as Bandar-e Lāft, Lāft-e Now, and Yāft) is a village in Howmeh Rural District, in the Central District of Qeshm County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,899, in 765 families. Laft is more than 2000 years old. It is located on Qeshm island in the Straits of Hormuz, to the south-west of Bandar Abbas.
