Lemi

Lemi is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the South Karelia region. The municipality has a population of 3,070 (31 March 2016) and covers an area of 262.48 square kilometres (101.34 sq mi) of which 44.71 km2 (17.26 sq mi) is water. The population density is 14.1 inhabitants per square kilometre (37/sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The Finnish thrash metal band Stam1na is from Lemi.
