Lil Soldiers was a rap group signed to No Limit Records from Asbury Park, NJ whose members were siblings Ikeim (YungFreedomU) and Freequan. The duo first appeared on fellow No Limit recording artists, Steady Mobb'n's 1998 Black Mafia album on the track entitled "Lil' Niggas" around the same time the siblings dropped *Close 2 You * A ode to their Mother's on Mean Green's certified gold album *Major Players* The following year Ikeim and Freequan, who were only 7and 6 years old respectively, released their one and only album on No Limit entitled Boot Camp. It was the first time in HipHop where the father and son collaborated. The album was successful as other No Limit albums released during that time and #16 on the fastest gainers on Billboard charts|Billboard 200]] and #22 on the Top R&B/Hip
