Rainbow Brite is a US children's animated series created by Hallmark Cards. The series aired from 1984 to 1986; most of the 13 episodes were produced by DIC Entertainment. A feature film, Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer, helped to bridge a 13-month gap between the 1985 and 1986 episode runs. Hallmark created the series for licensing and merchandising. Children's toys, picture books, and other Rainbow Brite products accompanied the television series.
