This is a list of middle schools in the state of Kentucky. If necessary, the schools are split into public and private, and also by district. Note that Kentucky has two types of public school districts: county districts, styled "XXXX County (Public) Schools" or in some cases "XXXX County School District"; and independent districts, which have varying styles with the common element of not including the word "County". Unless specified, public schools are affiliated with their associated county district.
