Marpole Bridge
The Marpole Bridge is a swing span railway bridge that crosses the north arm of the Fraser River and connects Vancouver with Richmond, British Columbia. The original Marpole Bridge was constructed in 1902. When it was damaged in 1966, a replacement bridge was opened in 1967. It is owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway. This bridge is not to be confused with the road bridge of the same name that was dismantled in 1957.
