Nagu merelaine

"Nagu merelaine" (Like a seawave) was the Estonian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1994. It was the first time Estonia participated in the contest, after Janika Sillamaa had failed to qualify from the East European final in 1993. The lyrics were written by Leelo Tungal, a well-known Estonian poet and writer of children's books. The composer was Ivar Must, the same man who composed "Everybody", Estonia's winning entry in 2001. A cover version of this song (performed with a heavy metal backing) has been recorded by Tanel Padar.
