Nicotiana persica
Nicotiana persica is a species of tobacco which is cultivated in Iran. It is the source of Persian Tobacco made in ITC monopoly. "Persian tobacco" is for example mentioned in the Mark Twain's book Innocents Abroad, Chapter XXXIV. Nicotiana alata is also sometimes called Persian Tobacco; this is mainly an ornamental plant however, grown for its pretty flowers and rarely for narghila tobacco.
