Nomiza

"Nomiza" (Greek script: Νόμιζα, English translation: "I Believed") was the Cypriot entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000, performed in Greek and Italian ("Rosso vivo" - the first time that the country had not sung entirely in Greek) by the duo Voice, made up of Christina Argyri and Alexandros Panayi. Panayi had previously represented Cyprus at the 1995 Contest with "Sti Fotia". The song is a love duet, with the singers declaring that they believed they each would find a way to unite, despite the problems they faced.
