North of Scotland Cup

The North of Scotland Cup is a knock-out tournament for football teams in membership of the North of Scotland Football Association. The teams involved are members of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), Highland League or North Caledonian League, with the teams in the SPFL often fielding strong reserve sides. In recent years the competition takes place during weeknights at the beginning of the season, with a final usually played at a neutral ground in October.
