Ocean Steam Navigation Company

The Ocean Steam Navigation Company (OSNC or Bremen Line) was a shipping company founded in 1847 in New York City. It operated the paddle steamer Washington, which ran the first regularly scheduled connection between the United States and mainland Europe. The company was dissolved in 1857. It was considered a predecessor of the North German Lloyd company.
