Pavlovsky District (Russian: Па́вловский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,098.5 square kilometers (424.1 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Pavlovo. Population: 100,960 (2010 Census); 43,426 (2002 Census); 47,875 (1989 Census). The population of Pavlovo accounts for 60.1% of the district's total population.
