Radio BGM is a hospital radio station covering the Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli, playing contemporary and classical music.The station is a non profit organization run by around 15 active volunteers. Its a subsidiary of Llanelli and District League of Hospital Friends, which was established in 1971. The station is part of the UK Hospital Radio Association member number 145. The Radio BGM studios is located by the main entrance of the hospital. It provides the patients in the hospital with a 24-hour running radio station via speakers positioned all over the hospital and in the wards. Radio BGM has been running for over 40 years with many people volunteering including presenters and technicians.
