Rosh Pinah mine

The Rosh Pinah mine is one of the largest and most important lead and zinc mines in Namibia. The mine is located in the extreme southwest, about 15 kilometers north of the Orange River and 50 kilometers east of the ocean in Rosh Pinah in the ǁKaras Region of southern Namibia. The mine has reserves amounting to 14 million tonnes of ore grading 2% lead and 8% zinc thus resulting 280,000 tonnes of lead and 1.12 million tonnes of zinc.
