Rostovsky District

Rostovsky District (Russian: Ростовский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the seventeen in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,073 square kilometers (800 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Rostov (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 34,062 (2010 Census); 38,593 (2002 Census); 43,047 (1989 Census).
