Rowan Profs

The Rowan Profs (or "Professors") is the nickname used for the athletic teams of Rowan University. The school is a member of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and competes in NCAA Division III. There are 16 varsity sports teams (7 men's and 9 women's). The football, field hockey, women's lacrosse, and track & field teams play at Richard Wackar Stadium. The basketball, swimming & diving, and volleyball teams play in the Esbjornson Gymnasium. All other teams play on various fields around the campus. Rowan also has club teams for ice hockey, men's soccer, men's rugby, ultimate frisbee, men's lacrosse, roller hockey, tennis, men's volleyball, dance, and wrestling.
