Secret of the Blue Room is a 1933 American Pre-Code murder-mystery film starring Lionel Atwill, Gloria Stuart, Paul Lukas and Edward Arnold. The plot is based on the German film Geheimnis des Blauen Zimmers, made the previous year. Universal remade it twice: as The Missing Guest in 1938 and as Murder in the Blue Room in 1944; the latter is played mostly as a comedy with songs, though is still faithful to the original plot.
