Sue Hayman
Susan Mary Hayman (born 28 July 1962) is a Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. She is the Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency of Workington after winning the seat in the 2015 general election. Hayman previously stood for Preseli Pembrokeshire in 2005 and for Halesowen and Rowley Regis in 2010, narrowly losing each time. Prior to her selection as Labour's candidate for Workington, she was a councillor on Cumbria County Council and had worked in social services. Upon election, she became the first female MP to represent a constituency in Cumbria.
