[Synopsis] The Essences, written by Daniel A. Reyes, is a thriller novel about the battle between Heaven and Hell. The Essences are four weapons created by The Almighty God, for His four gallants, Satan, Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. Each of the "weapons" possesses a different power that best suits their owner. Satan (trident of persuasion), Michael (sword of justice and mercy), Gabriel (shield of good news), and Raphael (staff of souls). The narrator of the story, a very curious angel named Uriel, gives insight as to what goes on in Heaven and closely follows Satan and his shenanigans.
