Titanic is a four-part television miniseries period drama written by Julian Fellowes based on the sinking of the RMS Titanic, a passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, United Kingdom, to New York City, United States. It was released in at least 86 countries in March and April 2012 for the disaster's 100th anniversary, 15 April 2012, one of two such productions, the other was Titanic: Blood and Steel (April 2012).
