World Christianity is a term that attempts to convey the global nature of the Christian religion. In the Western world, the term often conveys a notion of “non-Western Christianity” which “comprises (usually the exotic) instances of Christian faith in ‘the global South’, in Asia, Africa and Latin America” but, at times, also includes diasporic forms in Western Europe and North America.
