Žďákov Bridge

The Žďákov Bridge is a steel arch bridge that spans the Vltava between Orlík nad Vltavou and Kostelec nad Vltavou in Písek District, Czech Republic. At the time of its completion in 1967, it was the longest arch bridge in Czechoslovakia and the supported arch bridge with the longest span in the world. It is situated on the road between Tábor and Plzeň, near Orlík nad Vltavou. The total length of the bridge is 543 m (1,781 ft), including approach spans. The main span is 362 m (1,188 ft).
