The 1973 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 85th staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The draw for the opening fixtures took place on 28 January 1973. The championship began on 8 April 1973 ended on 14 October 1973. Glen Rovers were the defending champions. On 14 October 1973, Blackrock won the championship following a 2–12 to 2–10 defeat Glen Rovers in the final. This was their 25th championship title overall and their second title in three years. Glen Rovers' Tom Buckley was the championship's top scorer with 2-22.
