The 2000 United States presidential election in Virginia took place on November 7, 2000, and was part of the 2000 United States presidential election. Voters chose 13 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president. As of 2020, this is the last time Virginia has voted to the right of Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana or neighboring West Virginia. This is also the last time that a Republican won Northern Virginia.
