The 2020 District of Columbia Democratic presidential primary took place on June 2, 2020, as one of the Democratic Party presidential primaries for the 2020 presidential election. The District of Columbia primary is a closed primary, with the district awarding 46 delegates, of whom 20 are pledged delegates allocated on the basis of the results of the primary. Former Vice President Joe Biden won the primary with 76% of the vote, earning all 20 delegates. Senator Elizabeth Warren finished second, her best performance in the 2020 primaries, while Senator Bernie Sanders came in third.
