The 2022 United States Senate election in Alaska will be held on November 8, 2022, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the State of Alaska. Incumbent three-term Republican U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski is seeking reelection to a fourth term. Due to her opposition to some of his initiatives and mainly for her vote for his impeachment during his second impeachment trial, former U.S. President Donald Trump has pledged to campaign against Murkowski, implicitly endorsing a primary challenge in the process. However, due to the nature of Alaska's election process in the 2022 race, there will be no formal Republican primary.
