AMC V8 engine
The AMC V8 may refer to either of two distinct OHV V8 engines designed and manufactured by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) between 1956 and 1991. The first was produced from 1956 through 1967, and the second from 1966 to 1987, whereupon it was manufactured until 1991 by Chrysler Corporation subsidiary Jeep-Eagle after Chrysler acquired AMC for use in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
