Aaltje Terpstra

Aaltje Terpstra (born 1916 or 1917) was a Dutch kortebaan speed skater from Siegerswoude, who was active in the late 1940s and early 1950s. She won her first prizes in the 1940s, among others in December 1948 in Drachten ahead of Dirkje Kiers. Her best winter was the one of 1950–51, in which she won almost all competitions in Drenthe and Groningen. She was also a korfball player. She played for VKC and was on the same team as her brother and Coba Hoekstra. Terpstra married baker Albert Heidestra on 27 May 1943 when she was 26 years old.
