Abdulmajid Salimovich Dostiev (Tajik: Абдулмаҷид Достиев, Russian: Абдулмаджид Салимович Достиев; born 1946) is a Tajikistan politician and diplomat. Born in Bokhtar District in 1946, Dostiev served in the Soviet Army from 1966 until 1968 before pursuing a career in agriculture. Dostiev worked on a kolkhoz (communal farm) and went on to study entomology at the Agricultural University of Tajikistan, graduating in 1974. In 1977 he became the chief agronomist at the Qurghonteppa Department of Agriculture, and in 1980 he became head of that department.
