Adavi Ramudu (1977 film)

Adavi Ramudu (transl. Forest Ramu) is a 1977 Indian Telugu-language action film produced by Satyanarayana and Suryanarayana and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Jaya Prada and Jayasudha, with musical score by K. V. Mahadevan. The grand success of the 1973 Kannada film Gandhada Gudi prompted NTR to work on a script based on forest backdrop which resulted in this movie. This film won the Filmfare Best Film Award (Telugu). It was recorded as the highest grossing Telugu film of the 1970s until its record was broken by the 1981 film Premabhisekham.
