"Afterglow of Your Love" was released as a single in 1969 by the English rock group Small Faces. The song managed to reach No. 36 in the UK Singles Charts. The song was originally simply titled "Afterglow" on the album on which it first appeared in May 1968, Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake. The single reached No. 36 in the UK Singles Chart. The following November, Immediate released a final unauthorized album entitled The Autumn Stone. It included many of their hits, including unreleased material and three live tracks recorded at Newcastle City Hall. "Afterglow" was recorded at Olympic Studios, London.
