Agira

Agira (Italian pronunciation: [aˈdʒiːra]; Sicilian: Aggira, Ancient Greek: Ἀγύριον) is a town and comune in the province of Enna, Sicily (southern Italy). It is located in the mid-valley of the River Salso, 35 kilometres (22 miles) from Enna. Until 1861 it was called San Filippo d'Argiriò, in honour of its saint Philip of Agira.
