Alan Cadby
Alan Alfred Cadby (born 4 October 1947) is an Australian politician. He was a member of the Western Australian Legislative Council from 2001 to 2005, representing the Liberal Party from 2001 to 2004, and serving as an independent from 2004 to 2005, for the seven-member North Metropolitan Region. Independents have traditionally struggled in the Legislative Council, and facing near-certain defeat, Cadby decided to retire at the 2005 state election.
