Andrei Mironov (activist)
Andrei Nikolaevich Mironov (Russian: Андре́й Никола́евич Миро́нов, 31 March 1954, Irkutsk – 24 May 2014, Sloviansk), one of the last soviet political prisoners, was a human rights activist, reporter, fixer, interpreter. The Washington Post described him as "the interpreter who tried to save Russia".
