Arthur Porter (physician)

Arthur Thomas Porter IV PC (June 11, 1956 – June 30, 2015) was a Canadian physician and hospital administrator. In February 2004, Porter was appointed to replace Hugh Scott as the Director General and CEO of the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Quebec, one of Canada's largest academic health centres. He left that position in December 2011. Porter died just before midnight on June 30, 2015, at a cancer hospital in Panama. His death was announced on July 1, 2015.
